On April 26, the Peace Squad marched in the Charlottesville Dogwood Parade for the third time. The students created posters and wore Peace Squad shirts and some pretty wacky tacky attire. We had perfect weather and had a great time spreading our message about being kind. The best part, in my opinion, was all of the great chants that the kids came up with. "We are the Peace Squad, couldn't be prouder, if you can't hear us, we'll yell a little louder!" We want to wish a special THANK YOU to Katie Jackson of Partytrap Studios for taking our parade photos and for being Mrs. Geddy's BFF since 2nd grade. Also, a giant thank you to Kerry and Emily Rock, who supported the Peace Squad for the 2nd year!
